British Canoeing Awarding Body (BCAB) Coach pathway
Course Overview
During this two-day course, you will explore different approaches to understanding and enabling learning. You will also be supported in evolving your personal coaching development plan to enable you to take your learning into practice after the course.
Location: Monmouthshire
The Core Coach Training is open to all paddlers regardless of your discipline or previous coaching experience. To get the most out of your Core Coach Training, you need to feel comfortable in or on your craft and be able to independently paddle on sheltered water. The Paddle Explore Award (or equivalent level of experience) is recommended before booking on your Core Coach Training.
You will also need to be a Paddle UK member.
The course is predominantly theory based, however where appropriate we will get outside and, on the water, to experience the theories in practice.

Structuring practice sessions for the learner/athlete
Please note:
Minimum of 4 for course to run.
Additional access charges, parking fees and crafts are not included in the course fee but it is possible to rent a craft for the day at check out.
